this game is chill. Collecting vinyls is super lofi and nice. The platforming is pretty good but super hard for me - am I just bad or is this like a Foddian game?
I love the colours and music and overall retro design - does feel like a 5th/6th generation 3D platformer.
My only gripe - I can’t seem to save or exit the secret levels once entered. Is this an oversight on my side?
Great job on creating something slick and original in a pretty saturated genre Vomic !
yeah this game is pretty hard, the levels i designed (most of them) were designed to be a challenging for me, and as someone who knows all the quirks and techs (and programmed the movement) isn't good as a general player experience. this game only had a month of development time and 4 days of crunch time adding in as many features as we can, and staying up until 4 am on a school night making levels. theres a lot of design oversight due to this, think of this game as rayman on the ps1, as im inspired by that game plus the development cycle of that game are both pretty similar to sorakai quest. thank you for playing it though, even though its extremely rough around the edges.
you did a brilliant job! It’s original and fun to play. I kept trying and trying until completing the levels, so it’s a good time! Hope to see more games from you in the future!
i thought that was a sapphic flag they were wearing but its goggles, still very cool tho
